In collaboration with Autism Nova Scotia, Halifax Shopping Centre is pleased to offer Sensory Support Kits for guests to borrow during their visit.Sensory needs are part of many people’s experiences. Each easy-to-carry drawstring backpack contains tools that may support comfort, communication and sensory needs while visiting the shopping centre.Each kit includes:Noise-reducing headphonesSunglassesFidget toolsVisual communication cardsSensory Support Kits are available at no cost from Guest Services on Level 2 to anyone who may find them helpful. No diagnosis or explanation is required.All reusable items are cleaned and sanitized between uses.
