He wrote a trilogy consisting of Date 1965 Modern Warfare, The House on the Borderland, and The Ghost Pirates. In The Ghost Pirates the reader never sees a clear picture of the Ghosts. The doomed ship is on its last voyage with the spirits of bygone buccaneers.
