With Christmas approaching and Santa being so busy, he sent two of his elves, Shannon and Clyde to get the Christmas tree he had selected. Unknown to the elves a small family of squirrels, Momma, Emma, Tyler and baby Ava were fast asleep deep inside the big pine tree. Emma suddenly wakes up and discovers they are now in Santas house at the north pole and he has a big hairy watch dog guarding the place. After meeting Bud, Santa's dog, Emma and Tyler explain to him what has happened and they want to go back home to the meadow by the big blue lake. Bud then went to talk to Santa, but Santa not understanding dog talk, places a magic Christmas spell on him, enabling him to talk in human voice.
